Surety Underwriting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Surety Underwriting Manager at Everest Insurance Company is responsible for underwriting new and renewal contract and commercial bond business, while fostering productive relationships with independent agents and brokers.

In Short

• Underwrite mid and upper-mid market contract and commercial surety accounts.
• Develop and expand regional presence by engaging with brokers/agents.
• Manage an assigned book of agents and brokers, setting goals and objectives.
• Implement pricing and selection standards to achieve financial goals.
• Provide high-quality product and customer service.
• Work with Surety leadership and Credit functions on business production.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Surety or equivalent banking/investment experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree is a minimum requirement.
• Excellent communication, negotiating, and computer skills are essential.
