Overview

As a Software Engineer, Test, you will work with top engineers in the InsureTech space to design and implement test automation for Ethos, focusing on clean, modular, and high-performing code.

In Short

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
Design risk-based test plans for new features.
Ensure releases meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Identify coverage gaps and automate tasks.
Provide feedback on new functionality and features.
Prevent corner case defects.

Requirements

5+ years of software development or test framework experience.
Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Javascript, Java, Python).
Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools (e.g., AWS/GCP).
Experience with automation frameworks (TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
Expertise in test-driven development.
Self-directed and curious.
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Willingness to challenge existing practices.
