Overview

The Ethereum Foundation is a global non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will build AI-first data pipelines to enhance internal metric monitoring and workflow automation.

In Short

• Design and architect a data store and indexing infrastructure.
• Build and maintain the context engineering API for workflow agents.
• Develop data pipelines to track Ethereum ecosystem metrics.
• Work on both small automation tasks and larger projects.
• Prototype tools and dashboards for internal data access.

Requirements

• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Familiarity with GenAI solutions in data engineering.
• Knowledge of on-chain data and smart contract logic (Solidity/Rust).
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Comfort with external APIs and custom scrapers/indexers.
• Able to structure metrics from ambiguous ideas.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud services.
• Experience with platforms like Dune and The Graph.
• Skills in dashboarding and data visualization.
• Deep interest in Ethereum and public data infrastructure.
