Overview

Espresso Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to develop smart contracts for their innovative blockchain infrastructure, enhancing cross-chain composability and transaction confirmations.

In Short

Develop and manage EVM smart contracts.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers.
Work on the HotShot proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
Engage with external and internal auditors for security evaluations.
Take projects from concept to production.
3+ years of software engineering experience required.
Proficiency in Solidity and blockchain development.
Familiarity with Ethereum ecosystem and tools.
Experience with dapps and web3 interactions.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent blockchain/smart contract development experience.
Proficiency in Solidity and inline assembly.
Knowledge of Ethereum ecosystem including EIPs, ERCs.
Familiarity with ecosystem tools like foundry, alloy-rs, hardhat.
Familiarity with commonly used Solidity libraries.
Understanding of software engineering and security best practices.
Experience interacting with dapps/web3.
Experience shipping and taking engineering projects to production.
Enthusiasm for the industry is a must!
