Overview

The Senior Controls Engineer will join a dynamic team at Disney, focusing on troubleshooting engineering solutions for electrical ride and show systems.

In Short

• Develop and implement engineering solutions based on collected data.
• Perform engineering analysis and verify design compliance.
• Supervise fabrication and installation efforts.
• Document engineering designs including drawings and specifications.

• 10+ years of experience in electrical/controls engineering.
• Field troubleshooting experience in industrial controls or automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with PLCs, relay logic, and motor controllers.
• Knowledge of audio and video systems.
• Experience with software programming in ladder logic and C environments.
• Understanding of PC and network systems.
• EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
