In Short

• Contribute to financing and M&A mandates in the renewable energy sector in Europe.
• Independently create, review, and further develop integrated financial models.
• Conduct profitability analyses, sensitivity analyses, and stress tests for investments in renewable energy.
• Analyze purchase, sale, financing, and due diligence documents and create internal and external decision templates, evaluation frameworks, teasers, and information memorandums.
• Conduct market and company research and strategic analyses focused on renewable energy.
• Lead smaller projects or sub-projects and communicate directly with clients.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration, economics, law, or a comparable field.
• Analyst: First professional experience or relevant internships in M&A, financing, or financial modeling.
• Associate: At least two to three years of professional experience in M&A, financing, or financial modeling, e.g., at a bank, auditing firm, M&A consultancy, private equity/venture capital firm, or in fund/investment management.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
• Solid knowledge in financial modeling, ideally with VBA skills.
• Very good analytical skills, numerical understanding, and a structured and precise working style.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
