Strategic Finance Manager / Chief of Staff to the CFO - Remote

Overview

In this key role, you will actively shape the financial management of our corporate group and work closely with the executive management at a strategic level.

In Short

• Responsible for monthly financial reporting to shareholders
• Preparation and moderation of reporting meetings with managing directors
• Management of budget and forecasting processes at the group level
• Building scalable finance structures, tools, and processes
• Driving digitalization and automation in finance
• Further development of a group-wide KPI and reporting framework
• Liquidity planning, cash management, and banking relationships
• Support on tax and structural issues in close coordination with advisors
• Participation in investment decisions, M&A, and strategic finance topics
• Creation of ad-hoc analyses and decision templates for CFO/CEO

Requirements

• 2–7 years of experience in corporate controlling, transaction services, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
• Strong understanding of accounting and controlling
• Analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools and ERP systems
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building structures
• Strong communication skills at management and shareholder levels
• Hands-on mentality with high implementation strength
• Very good German and good English skills
• Ambition to develop towards Head of Group Controlling / Finance Director
