Overview

The Senior Manager, Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and manufacturing of three-phase transformers across multiple teams, plant locations and functions. This senior-level manager leads engineering efforts of junior-level managers and advanced-level individual contributors, contributing to & ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in Design Engineering, focusing on transformers.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in Design Engineering.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams.
• Understanding of product optimization and industry standards.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering design processes.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets and project resources.
