Product Owner Intern (MBA) SaaS - Remote

Overview

As a Product Owner Intern at xPL Studio, you will be embedded directly into one of our active SaaS venture builds, owning real product decisions and contributing to a product that is actively being shaped for market launch or growth.

In Short

• Participate in ideation and validation sprints to define product scope and user value propositions.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, writing and prioritizing user stories.
• Support sprint planning and retrospectives within an agile framework.
• Facilitate user story mapping sessions to align cross-functional teams.
• Act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, designers, and developers.
• Support subscription model design and feature rollout planning.
• Prepare and present product updates and roadmap snapshots to leadership.
• Work directly with senior leaders in venture building and product strategy.
• Gain hands-on product experience with a tangible portfolio.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an MBA program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to connect product features to outcomes.
• Technical curiosity regarding APIs and SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in consulting, product, tech, or startups is an advantage.
