Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will support the Finance and Accounting team in the day-to-day accounting and financial close process to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.

In Short

• Complete monthly close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger transactions and prepare accruals.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain prepaid and fixed asset records in NetSuite.
• Collaborate with outsourced accounting and payroll service providers.
• Work with tax team on Sales & Use tax requirements.
• Assist with annual external audit preparation.
• Record intercompany transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Collaborate for process improvements.
• Assist in developing internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role in a publicly traded company.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Proficiency in accounting software and principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented with strong work ethic.
