Overview

The Data Engineer role presents a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and experience in contributing to a mission-driven organization with a global impact. As part of the Portfolio and Data Analytics (PDA) Team, you will work on EQORIS, the organization’s central data platform, and play a crucial role in advancing Enabling Qapital’s data capabilities and infrastructure.

In Short

• Work on EQORIS, the organization’s central data platform.
• Manage ETL/ELT platforms for investment monitoring and portfolio management.
• Catalog and manage access rights for thousands of datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models.
• Collaborate with data analysts to design dashboards and reports.
• Support business units with ad hoc data needs and analysis requests.
• Continuously refine data workflows for better performance.
• Stay current on the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
• Participate in a comprehensive induction period.
• Work closely with the Data Analytics Team and Risk Management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Mastery of at least one programming language (Python, SQL, PySpark).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Self-organized with the ability to manage time across multiple projects.
• Hands-on experience building reliable, production-grade applications.
• Strong interest in tackling data-related challenges at scale.
• Experience with modern software engineering principles.
