The Medical Billing Specialist acts as the liaison between key client contacts and the Veterans Administration, responsible for handling patient health information and ensuring compliance with billing processes.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years’ experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• 2+ years’ client facing/customer service experience.
• 1+ years’ experience with VA billing required.
• Intermediate understanding of claims processing and government programs.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Office.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure.
• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
