Overview

The Sr. Director, Clinical Development is an experienced clinical trialist responsible for the clinical and scientific execution of global clinical programs, ensuring timely planning, implementation, management, and reporting of clinical studies and trials.

In Short

  • Lead the development of clinical strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clinical programs.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the clinical development team.
  • Facilitate the execution of clinical protocols and programs.
  • Support the clinical operations team in achieving study deliverables.
  • Review and evaluate emerging clinical trial data.
  • Support authorship and review of clinical/regulatory documents.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to present clinical data.
  • Manage direct reports as needed.
  • Travel may be required up to 5%.

Requirements

  • Master's or Advanced degree in Life Sciences.
  • Minimum of ten years of pharmaceutical and/or clinical experience.
  • Experience in rare disease, otology, audiology, or gene therapy preferred.
  • Proven track record in conducting global clinical trials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan strategically and think critically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
