Accountant I - Remote

Overview

The Accountant I position at Elbit Systems of America involves performing internal control and government compliance testing under the supervision of the Manager of Accounting & Compliance, primarily in a remote capacity.

In Short

• Perform internal control (SOX 404) and government compliance testing.
• Test entity-level and process-level controls for multiple locations.
• Document testing results according to standard methodology.
• Assist in tracking external audit requests.
• Participate in SOX process walkthroughs.
• Maintain database information and perform administrative tasks.
• Occasional travel to business units as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills required.

• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
