Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and performing acceptance testing on complex electro-optical systems in a manufacturing environment.

In Short

  • Assemble and inspect electro-mechanical systems based on engineering documents.
  • Perform acceptance testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct diagnostics and fault isolation on systems.
  • Assist in failure analysis and corrective actions.
  • Repair customer-owned products in a repair environment.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize basic electrical testing and mechanical measuring tools.
  • Follow quality standards and safety protocols.
  • May require wearing a respirator for certain job functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Aptitude for working from engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Basic computer operation skills for accessing engineering systems.
  • Proficiency in using electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
  • Experience with mechanical measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work in a repair environment.
  • Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
