Mechanical Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The Mechanical Engineer II will be responsible for designing machines and systems for cookie and snack production, as well as supporting aftermarket projects and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Design new machines and improve existing ones for food production.
• Support aftermarket business with engineering solutions.
• Research and select parts for machine designs.
• Lead mechanical and thermal engineering aspects of projects.
• Provide technical documentation for operational instructions.

• Experience with geometric tolerances and welding symbols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years of experience in food equipment design preferred.
• Experience with thermal dynamics is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Ability to travel independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of hygienic design for the food industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
