Tunnel Structure Engineer F/H - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a talented and innovative structure engineer to join our team in Annecy, France. As a key member of our civil engineering department, you will be responsible for the sizing and design of tunnel structures and underground works for transport infrastructure projects.

In Short

• Perform structural calculations and analyses of tunnels and underground structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers and designers.
• Ensure compliance with construction codes and local and international regulations.
• Write calculation notes and technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
• Participate in the technical development of the team (feedback, development of new tools, etc.).

Requirements

• Engineering degree or master's in civil engineering with a specialization in structural calculations.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in structural calculations, preferably in the field of underground works and soil-structure interaction.
• Proficiency in structural calculation software, such as Robot and SCIA.
• Knowledge of French construction standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and collaborative teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
• Willingness to occasionally visit project sites.
