Overview

The Director, Practice Management, Strategy and Enablement plays a critical role in supporting financial planners as they build and lead successful practices. This role provides mentorship, resources, and tools to optimize planner workflows, elevate client experiences, and advance the strategic evolution of Practice Management across Edelman Financial Engines.

In Short

  • Drive the development and evolution of practice management strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams on training needs and tools.
  • Partner with Regional Directors & Advisors for business plans.
  • Align practice management principles with firm objectives.
  • Lead organizational change for new systems and processes.
  • Build and deliver scalable frameworks for planning teams.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand planner needs.
  • Evaluate and lead critical initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Streamline planner activities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops to enhance planner capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in coaching & developing Sales professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments; Agile experience preferred.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders effectively.
  • CFP® Certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%.
