IP Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal with a strong background in patent prosecution to work closely with our legal team at E-Space, managing a diverse portfolio of domestic and international patent applications.

In Short

• Prepare and file U.S. patent applications including continuations and responses to Office Actions.
• Manage international patent filings under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
• Coordinate European patent filings through the EPO.
• Maintain and monitor IP docketing systems for timely filings.
• Draft and manage formal documents such as Information Disclosure Statements.
• Liaise with foreign associates and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and file U.S. and Foreign trademark applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Proficiency in patent docketing software and electronic filing systems.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international patent laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Paralegal certification or equivalent educational background preferred.
