In Short

• Develop and maintain frontend components for the Breuninger online shop using technologies such as EJS, WebComponents, Lit, and Node.js.
• Create extensions for our content management system and contribute ideas to optimize our processes.
• Proactively bring ideas and develop solutions to enhance the success of the Breuninger online shop.
• Ensure the quality of our software through automated testing with tools like Jest and Playwright.
• Participate in the cross-functional microfrontend of the webshop and shape the microarchitecture within the team.
• Take responsibility for the operation of our services, ensuring their stability, performance, and further development.

Requirements

• Professional experience in web development with JavaScript/TypeScript and solid knowledge of CSS and HTML.
• Familiarity with server-side and client-side rendering, ideally with experience in WebComponents (e.g., Lit) and frameworks like React.
• Ability to understand the product strategy of the team to independently derive and structure tasks.
• Experience with automated testing and knowledge of optimizing website performance.
• Good German language skills.
• Willingness to collaborate in cross-functional areas such as backend development (Java/Kotlin), infrastructure, and architecture.
• Familiarity with build tools and a good understanding of the requirements of modern web development.
• Enjoy working in an agile and self-organized team, taking responsibility, and proactively contributing ideas.
