Principal IT Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Principal IT Security Engineer is a valued member of the Protect squad and is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cybersecurity capabilities in at least two or more of the following security domains such as Network Security, Data Protection, Container Security, Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing complex issues, identifying automation opportunities, and managing cybersecurity capabilities while exploring advancements and new functionalities for final Production implementation.

In Short

• Provide 4th and 5th level support for tactical and strategic issues related to multi-domain security technologies.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to prepare new technologies for production implementation.
• Work with React and Enable Squad Team to find automation opportunities.
• Implement the latest versions and patches for cybersecurity technologies.
• Support the development and delivery of the Protect Squad strategy.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and supervising controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity related experience.
• Expertise in two or more domains like Network Security, Data Protection, Container Security, Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security.
• Experience with Kubernetes Security and CI/CD security policies.
• Knowledge of Data Loss Protection technologies and Secure Web Gateways.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Industry security certifications such as CISSP preferred.
