Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

DSFederal is seeking a highly qualified individual for a Business Financial Analyst position supporting a federal client in their day-to-day operational and business processes and management practices.

In Short

• Provide business process management and automation support services to the National Institute of Health’s Division of Loan Repayment.
• Understand the typical loan application and award process for the government.
• Proficient in both soft and technical skills such as software/website proficiency, oral and written communications.
• Effectively manage time and productivity with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for interfacing with clients at various levels.
• Experience in creating metrics, dashboards, and reports.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of program operations.
• Support change management and process improvements.
• Administer NIH Extramural LRP and support application and payment activities.
• Review and analyze financial loan documents.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance environment.
• Experience with data analytics and dashboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Understanding of Power BI is preferred.
