Senior IP Paralegal - Remote

Overview

As a Senior IP Paralegal at Dropbox, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global intellectual property portfolio. You’ll be responsible for patent and trademark prosecution support, docketing, and strategic IP operations. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineers, legal counsel, and external partners on Dropbox’s most innovative technologies. In Short

• Manage U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution workflows with outside counsel.
• Maintain accurate IP docketing and ensure timely filings.
• Support invention disclosure reviews and patent committee meetings.
• Tracking and filing Information Disclosure Statements.
• Assist with IP budget tracking, forecasting, and invoice review.
• Coordinate with internal product and engineering teams on IP-related matters.
• Maintain and update internal IP records and databases.
• Prepare reports related to patent portfolio metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international patent prosecution processes.
• Strong docketing and data management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally within the organization and with outside counsel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with IP management systems.
