In Short

• Design, execute, and document comprehensive manual test cases for new and existing product features.
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs and inconsistencies with clear, detailed, and reproducible steps using Jira.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements, define testing scope, and advocate for quality at every stage of development.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives, providing actionable QA feedback and helping prioritize fixes.
• Maintain and update internal documentation on product behavior, key workflows, and edge cases.
• Develop, improve, and help enforce QA processes, standards, and templates for bug reporting and test case management.
• Support regression, exploratory, and cross-platform testing before each release.
• Communicate proactively with distributed team members across time zones, ensuring async updates and timely responses.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of manual QA experience in tech startups or SaaS companies.
• Experience writing detailed bug reports, QA plans, and internal documentation.
• Comfortable using tools such as Jira, TestRail (or similar), Chrome DevTools, and Postman.
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of catching hard-to-find bugs and edge cases.
• Ability to clearly articulate findings, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive improvements in product quality.
• Strong async communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
