Overview

As a Medical Linguistic Specialist at Docplanner, your main focus will be preparing and curating linguistically and medically oriented datasets to power our machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) initiatives.

In Short

• Prepare and maintain medically oriented datasets for machine learning purposes.
• Create and refine annotation and labeling conventions.
• Perform audio transcriptions aligning audio with text.
• Develop and implement text patterns to detect and extract named entities.
• Prepare and maintain dictionaries and taxonomies for NLP systems.
• Evaluate the correctness and accuracy of words and sentences.
• Supervise the work of annotators and collaborate with technical teams.

Requirements

• Proficient in English and one or more additional languages.
• Degree or strong background in linguistics or related field.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Hands-on experience with data annotation and transcription.
• Proficiency in text analysis for NLP purposes.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
