Overview

As a Freelance Data Annotation Specialist at Docplanner, your main focus will be preparing and curating linguistically and medically oriented datasets in Italian to power our machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) initiatives.

In Short

• Prepare and maintain medically oriented datasets for machine learning purposes.
• Follow and provide feedback on annotation and labeling conventions.
• Perform audio transcriptions in Italian.
• Implement text patterns to detect and extract named entities in Italian.
• Contribute to dictionaries and taxonomies in Italian for NLP systems.
• Evaluate the correctness and accuracy of words, sentences, and text structures.
• Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.
• Communicate proactively about project progress and challenges.
• Must be able to invoice in EUR.
• This is not a full-time job, it's for freelancers only.

Requirements

• Native Italian speaker and Full Professional Level of English.
• Strong background in linguistics or computational linguistics.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or prior experience in healthcare.
• Hands-on experience with data annotation and transcription.
• Proficiency in text patterns and dictionaries for NLP.
• Exceptional ability to assess and improve data quality.
• Strong self-management skills.
