Emerging Technology Project / AI Manager (Japanese/English Bilingual) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Japanese/English Bilingual Emerging Technology Project / AI Manager to drive the development of cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI, and explore new technological domains that will be critical to NTT DOCOMO’s future business.

In Short

• Lead and manage AI and emerging technology projects in alignment with DOCOMO’s business objectives.
• Proactively identify and secure new projects from DOCOMO HQ.
• Identify and evaluate new technology domains beyond AI.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and drive projects.
• Facilitate project meetings with seamless communication.
• Contribute to technical development while leading projects across teams.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Project Management with knowledge of AI and Data Science.
• Broad knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, Cloud, Agile Development, and Wireless Communications.
• Proven ability to manage teams and foster collaboration.
• Experience working in Japanese and U.S. business environments.
• Ability to manage projects from conception to deployment.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
