Client is a VC-backed Series B startup building the future of conversational commerce in Latin America, focusing on WhatsApp as a 360° AI engagement platform for retailers. The company operates across USA, Latin America and Europe with offices in São Paulo, Bogotá, San Francisco, and Europe.

In Short

• Lead and manage a distributed team of 10-20 engineers.
• Define technical strategy in partnership with the CTO.
• Oversee design reviews and code quality.
• Ensure product quality and performance through strong testing practices.
• Drive engineering processes such as sprint planning and technical reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Sales for launches and integrations.
• Support complex integrations with enterprise clients.
• Manage team hiring, development, and performance.
• Cultivate leadership and innovation within the team.
• Build scalable systems and processes.

Requirements

• MS or BS in Computer Science.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in management.
• Experience leading teams of 10-20 engineers.
• Strong background in backend and AI systems.
• Experience in defining technical strategy at scale.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
• Experience with enterprise customer engagement and integrations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
