Overview

Divera GmbH is digitalizing and accelerating processes for companies, authorities, fire departments, and aid organizations. We develop and operate the alarm and availability system DIVERA 24/7 as a SaaS platform.

With our app, customers can reach their personnel within seconds in case of emergencies, operational disruptions, and other critical events.

Leaders and dispatchers are immediately informed whether the team is operational. More information about the deployment order can be exchanged in real-time via the integrated messenger.

Together with you, we want to further develop the Android app and expand its functionality. As an Android specialist, you can expect a position with much responsibility and one goal: to build the perfect app. Become our Android expert!

In Short

• Independent further development of the in-house app, currently 90% Java, Kotlin is ongoing!
• Integration of REST interfaces, programming of individual views, etc.
• Consideration of compatibility for older smartphones, currently up to Android 8
• Bypassing energy-saving settings for various manufacturers
• Continuous collaboration with other IT specialists, especially regarding conception, client-server architecture, and testing

Requirements

• As we are a German-speaking team: German at least B2
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, and native Android apps
• As an Android (dev) lover, the Developer Preview is required reading
• Understanding of databases and web interfaces
• High standards for your own code, including testability and maintainability of the software
• Sense for contemporary interface design and optimal user experience
• Experience with Android Studio, FCM, Git, and Jira is a plus
