Paralegal - Federal Court - Remote

Overview

The Paralegal will perform substantive billable legal work under the direction of attorneys, helping to relieve them of various tasks to allow them to focus on more critical legal matters.

In Short

• Maintain pleadings, discovery indexes, and case files.
• Perform administrative duties including organizing case files and managing logistics.
• Fill out legal forms and draft letters and court documents.
• Prepare contracts and customize standard forms.
• Research laws and judicial decisions related to cases.
• Assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial.
• Draft corporate bylaws and operating agreements.
• Review pending legislation and draft motions.
• Organize exhibits and gather relevant information.
• Liaise between attorneys and external third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Experience with Federal court rules and litigation matters.
• At least 3 years as a litigation paralegal.
• Complex litigation experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Great attention to detail and organization skills.
• Timeliness in completing tasks.
