Overview

The Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) is responsible for the successful execution and oversight of task orders under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) IT UNIX Technical Support Services program. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with DLA stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of contractual requirements on time and within scope. The TOPM provides leadership in project planning, resource management, reporting, and contractor administration, while supporting the DLA's mission-critical enterprise IT operations.

In Short

  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned task orders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Oversee on-boarding and off-boarding processes for contractors.
  • Prepare and submit recurring reports and deliverables.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation during contract transition.
  • Ensure compliance with DLA policies and regulations.
  • Facilitate meetings and briefings with teams and government representatives.
  • Track project performance and mitigate risks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience in IT or consulting.
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in managing teams.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale IT task orders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with contract compliance and DoD project management standards.
