Mental Health Therapist - Remote

Overview

Your role as a Mental Health Therapist involves empowering patients to discuss their mental health openly and creating a judgment-free environment.

In Short

• Conduct video consultations with clients presenting mental health-related symptoms.
• Follow up with clients to ensure progress in their care path.
• Participate in clinical meetings with other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to the improvement of mental health programs and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with Case Managers for administrative tasks.
• Ensure patient safety in your member-facing role.

Requirements

• Comfortable providing consultations in French.
• Master’s degree in Mental Health or Human Relations.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must be a member of a professional order.
• Comfortable with psychosocial assessments and mental health disorders.
• Experience with short-term therapy.
• Availability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Desire to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with solution-focused brief therapy is an asset.
