Mental Health Therapist - Remote

Join Cartwheel to help tackle the student mental health crisis by providing excellent care to students in partner school districts.

In Short

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to students.
• Collaborate with school staff and families.
• Build trusted relationships to support student mental health.
• Participate in case consultations with team members.
• Work as a 1099 Independent Contractor (10-20 hours/week).
• 100% remote position.
• Start date: Rolling start dates throughout early 2025.
• Must have an active license in Ohio.
• Experience with various therapeutic techniques is required.
• Strong technological skills are necessary.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Active mental health care license in Ohio.
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, and other therapies.
• Experience delivering care via telehealth.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially after school hours.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet.
• Passion for working with schools on mental health.
• Fluency in other languages is a plus.
• Experience in shorter-term care models is a plus.
