QA Engineer with CMS Expertise - Remote

Overview

The QA Engineer will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining detailed test plans and cases, ensuring the quality of websites and applications built on CMS platforms.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, and security testing.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to identify testable scenarios.
• Test websites and applications built on CMS platforms (especially Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla).
• Use test management tools like TestRail, Jira, or Xray.
• Effectively identify and communicate issues, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet defined quality standards.
• Validate data using SQL and browser developer tools.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and types (functional, regression, performance, etc.).
• Experience creating and executing detailed test plans and using tools like TestRail or Jira.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, SQL) and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of Drupal core/contributed modules and basic theming.
• Experience testing CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in teams.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter) and security testing is a plus.
