Overview

As a Senior Data Modeller at Booking.com, you will lead the development and utilization of Data Models within the Trips Business Unit, engaging with internal teams to deliver robust, trusted data.

In Short

• Lead the development of Data Models for the Trips Business Unit.
• Engage with internal teams to define and document As-is and To-be Data Models.
• Act as a bridge between business and engineering teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders about Data Model development.
• Define and manage the Data Model Framework.
• Support the embedding of Data Models in Data Governance.
• Curate and maintain Trips Data Models.
• Identify opportunities to improve data efficiency.
• Implement processes for data changes and new solutions.
• Support the establishment of Data Owners.

Requirements

• Experience in data governance programs.
• Strong technical ability in data solutions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Rich experience in data architecture and modelling.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling methods.
• Intermediate knowledge of Data Management & Governance.
• Proficient in SQL or similar querying languages.
• Experience in Agile product-based organizations.
• Desirable: Experience with data lineage tools.
• Desirable: Understanding of e-commerce and travel business models.
