DevOps Engineer - IT Services - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our IT Services Infrastructure team in Amsterdam. Our team is currently engaged in a challenging migration/replacement of our internal and Azure based services into AWS.

As a member of this team you will be helping us with our ongoing transition to the cloud and promoting DevOps practices through our organisation, impacting our employees digital experience all around the world. You will be working in one of the biggest e-commerce companies in the world, developing end-to-end automated infrastructure services across multiple data centers and in the cloud.

In Short

• Design, develop and implement solutions for cloud transition.
• Improve performance and reliability of internal services.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a DevOps position with large, complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with Windows environments in AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as code experience in AWS using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.).
• Windows and/or Linux administration skills.
• Ability to understand and formulate business metrics.
• Creative and willing to step outside comfort zones.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
