Network Integration Engineer (Expert) - Remote

Overview

The Network Integration Engineer (Expert) will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing the commissioning and operation of complex network systems, ensuring high-quality network performance and integration of new customers.

• Responsible for planning, designing, and executing commissioning and operation of complex network systems
• Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating corrective actions
• Project planning and execution of commissioning and operations
• Problem detection and documentation using a trouble ticket system
• Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases
• Representing the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teams
• Administration of deployed network and security systems
• Integration of new customers into existing operational processes
• Designing and implementing supporting tools
• Coordinating order processing

Requirements

• Master’s or diploma degree with appropriate professional experience
• At least seven years of professional experience, with a minimum of five years in IT administration
• Detailed knowledge in CISCO network, Cisco FirePower, and Fortinet firewalls
• Experience with CISCO ISE, 802.1x, RADIUS, and TACACS+
• Experience in automation with Cisco DNA Center in campus networks
• Cisco certifications CCSP / CCNA are desirable
• ITIL certification is an advantage
• Highly systematic and structured way of working
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent German and good English skills
