Global Application Engineering Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Global Application Engineering Specialist for VHB Tapes will collaborate with diverse teams to create impactful bonding applications and support product launches.

In Short

• Partner with global teams in Application Engineering and Product Development.
• Identify customer needs and analyze 3M solutions.
• Create documentation and training materials for product launches.
• Develop market insights into double-coated and foam tapes.
• Collaborate with customers to identify tape and automation needs.
• Diagnose and resolve customer application issues.
• Full-time office-based role with travel expectations of up to 25%.
• Fluent in English; additional German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to participate in meetings across time zones.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry.
• Experience with polymers or adhesives.
• Experience in Application Engineering and industrial automation systems.
• Basic experience with modelling and simulation.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to engage in global team meetings.
• Preferred: PhD in relevant fields.
