Overview

As an Ignition SCADA Programmer, you will develop and deploy SCADA applications for the oil & gas industry, while participating in an employee-owned company with comprehensive benefits.

In Short

Develop and deploy Ignition SCADA applications.
Design HMI interfaces using Ignition Vision/Perspective.
Integrate SCADA with PLCs/RTUs.
Configure alarm management and real-time dashboards.
Write Python scripts and SQL queries.
Interface SCADA systems with field instrumentation.
Support field commissioning and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
Maintain technical documentation and user manuals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of SCADA development experience.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with oil & gas operations.
Experience with remote SCADA access.
Knowledge of SCADA system security.
Strong problem-solving skills.
