Overview

Dematic is seeking a dedicated Professional (Level 3) Software Support Engineer to deliver remote, second level customer support within Dematic's Global Software Organization.

In Short

  • Provide remote customer support for software issues.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST.
  • Assist project and technical engineers in system integration.
  • Troubleshoot server hardware, Ethernet networks, and peripherals.
  • Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours.
  • Travel approximately 5% to different customer locations.
  • Work closely with first level technicians and software engineers.
  • Participate in application quality testing.
  • Provide specified technical support to customers on-site.
  • Review Sales and Estimating Functional Specification documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in software, network and/or hardware engineering.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and MS SQL Database.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
