Senior Director of Product Security - Remote

Overview

Delinea’s Cybersecurity organization is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Director of Product Security to provide leadership and execution for industry-leading Product and Cloud Security programs. This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing and maturing Delinea’s Product Security function and developing best-in-class capabilities to secure Delinea’s product offerings.

In Short

• Design and execute against a Product Security target operating model incorporating agile and DevSecOps best practices.
• Set the tone for the Product Security team culture leveraging best practices.
• Partner closely with Product Development to integrate security and ensure developer enablement.
• Direct the analysis and enhancement of Product and Cloud Security postures.
• Lead the implementation of Product and Cloud Security solutions.
• Establish and mature Vulnerability Management and Penetration testing services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts within cybersecurity processes.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to executives on Product Security status.
• Participate in customer-facing calls to address Product Security inquiries.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the Product and Cloud Security threat landscape.
• Proven track record in solving complex Product Security issues.
• Experience with Secure SDLC frameworks and DevSecOps programs.
• Experience in Agile development and security technologies including Docker, AWS, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in security, with 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing demands.
• Minimal travel (<10%).
