Senior Director of Product Security - Remote

Overview

Workato is looking for an exceptional security leader to establish and lead a global security team responsible for Workato’s product and infrastructure security.

In Short

• Lead the company's development and implementation of a comprehensive product security strategy.
• Manage and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts.
• Identify, develop, implement, and maintain security programs across product development.
• Define strategic direction and set objectives for the security organization.
• Oversee critical cybersecurity areas including incident response and information governance.
• Lead product security operations to protect against immediate threats.
• Grow product security programs to an industry-leading position.
• Build strong relationships within product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about the security posture of products.
• Support compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and other standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product security or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying security controls.
• Deep understanding of security principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Practical knowledge of security technologies for SaaS applications.
• Ability to provide strategic product security mentorship.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.
