Release Manager/Release Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Release Manager/Release Engineer to oversee and manage the release lifecycle, from planning and coordination to deployment and post-release validation. This role ensures high-quality, timely software releases and promotes best practices in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and collaboration across teams.

In Short

• Plan, coordinate, and execute release activities.
• Collaborate with the Product Management Office.
• Oversee hotfix releases for US and India teams.
• Facilitate Post-Mortem reviews for quality improvement.
• Work closely with product and QA teams to validate releases.
• Redefine quality gates for releases.
• Partner with DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess and improve release processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for release activities.
• Maintain documentation of release workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and source control.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools.
• Expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
