Part-Time Remote Recruiter for Summer Camp

Overview

DEAN Adventure Camps is seeking a Part-Time Remote Recruiter (Contract) to support high-volume seasonal hiring for Assistant and Junior Counselor roles during the peak recruitment period. This role is responsible for conducting structured, one-round interviews using DEAN’s established interview guide and delivering detailed, evidence-based interview documentation that enables the Director of HR to make confident, timely hiring decisions.

In Short

• Conduct one-round interviews for Assistant and Junior Counselor candidates.
• Manage interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Produce thorough, structured interview documentation.
• Maintain accurate records within DEAN's ATS: JazzHR.
• Communicate proactively with the Director of HR regarding interview trends.
• Adhere to DEAN's hiring timelines and confidentiality standards.
• Ensure a consistent and professional interview process.
• Evening availability required to accommodate candidate schedules.
• Independent contractor role averaging approximately 20 hours per week.
• Contract runs from January through June.

Requirements

• Experience conducting structured interviews for high-volume roles.
• Skilled at capturing clear and objective interview notes.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and JazzHR.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven.
• Available for evening interview hours as needed.
• Understand the importance of structured, bias-aware hiring.
• Communicate professionally and warmly with candidates.
• Organized and reliable in managing interview schedules.
• Comfortable working independently.
