Join BD as a Senior Manufacturing Technician in the Rubber Department, providing technical support and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth operations in a leading global medical technology company.

In Short

• Provide technical support primarily electrical to production operations.
• Set-up, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair departmental production equipment.
• Responsible for production, quality, downtime, and waste levels of machine operation.
• Project a positive attitude with excellent team skills.
• Lead and take ownership of process performance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• Assist in the installation and start-up of new production equipment.
• Maintain equipment logs and documentation.
• Use Programmable Logic Controllers for troubleshooting and testing.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in “Advanced Mechatronics” or similar field required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Lead Technical Role preferred.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment desired.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Available to work an 8pm - 8am shift on a 3-2-2-3 schedule.
• Skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and understanding of electrical principles.
• Able to pass a practical assessment for technical competence.
