Field IoT Engineer (EV Telematics) - Remote

Datakrew is revolutionizing EV fleet intelligence with cutting-edge IoT/AI solutions. We are looking for a hands-on Field IoT Engineer to perform ITUS installations, analyze CANBus data, and support EV fleet operators and workshops.

In Short

• Travel to install and configure ITUS EV Scanner devices at customer sites.
• Perform hardware installations and troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Train customers and technicians on using ITUS for diagnostics.
• Design and interpret JSON data packets for data transmission.
• Implement data pipelines for secure telemetry transmission.
• Maintain a database of ITUS installations and track device status.
• Monitor ITUS device health and set up automated alerts.
• Work with product teams to suggest improvements for ITUS.
• Assist in deploying firmware and software updates.
• Participate in post-installation quality checks and audits.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CANBus, Modbus, and device configurations.
• Familiarity with EV data parameters.
• Experience working with IoT devices and edge computing solutions.
• Knowledge of JSON data structures and API communication.
• Proficiency in Node-RED for data processing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer locations.
