Manager I, Engineering - Fabric Control Plane - Remote

Overview

The Fabric Control Plane team is responsible for building a unified control plane and service discovery infrastructure that powers our network dataplane. We provide Datadog engineers with feature-rich APIs and tooling to expose their services to both internal and external customers in a secure, reliable and scalable way.

• Manage a team of 5+ software engineers.

Requirements

• Experience managing software engineering teams.
• Backend programming experience (e.g., Go, C++, Rust).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, DNS).
• Experience troubleshooting Linux and network performance.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
