Overview

JLL is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to provide support to assigned buildings, performing tasks such as painting, maintenance, and repair of various components of the physical structure.

In Short

• Perform repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of building components.
• Prepare, prime, and paint building surfaces.
• Patch and paint office and controlled work environments.
• Maintain and repair locks, doors, and furniture.
• Assist with plumbing component maintenance.
• Communicate with clients regarding painting requirements.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing and sanding.
• Mix and match paint and finishes to specifications.
• Review and implement work orders and assignments.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in building repair and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in performing overhead work safely.
• Capable of various physical tasks related to maintenance.
