Intermediate Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Intermediate Network Engineer will be responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining network devices and services, ensuring system availability and reliability.

In Short

• Configure and install network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability
• Provide Level-2/3 support for troubleshooting
• Implement security tools and policies
• Liaise with vendors for problem resolution
• Hands-on network engineering experience required
• Understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP)
• Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, and load balancing
• Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in network engineering
• CCNP or higher certification (CCIE/CISSP valued)
• Deep understanding of OSI/TCP/IP model
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper products
• Experience with PaloAlto and F5 products
• Knowledge of InfoBlox IPAM, Solarwinds NPM
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work within configuration and change management policies
• Experience in capacity planning and resource utilization
• Excellent communication skills
