Lead Product Designer - Remote

Overview

This role is fully remote. You can be located anywhere in Europe with a + in France. Cycloid's mission is to focus on scaling platform engineering initiatives. We optimize the developer experience and operational efficiency by accelerating the delivery of an internal developer portal and platform, alleviating the cognitive load on IT teams and advocating for FinOps and Green IT practices. With Cycloid, you do not need to start from scratch to get a fully customized solution.

In Short

• Drive the design vision and execution of our platform.
• Hands-on product design role, focusing on shaping product direction.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, backend, and DevOps.
• Own product design direction and work on new features and improvements.
• Ensure design quality and consistency across the product.
• Work closely with another designer to elevate design quality.
• Translate designs into high-quality Vue.js implementations.
• Provide regular reporting to the Founder.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product design, with > 10 years in a lead or senior role.
• Capability to build and scale a design team.
• Strong track record in designing complex digital products.
• Excellent skills in interaction design, UX architecture, and UI design.
• Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
